Bruce Springsteen,Western Star BD Dolby Atmos.Had watched this before,but it sounds much better with Atmos.

I was really surprised when i started the Bluray today as i had missed that it is with Dolby Atmos.
The audio blows away the other releases and is propably the best audio Springsteen has offered. It actually offers discreet audio which Bruce hasn´t done much of before. After raising the volume of the back speakers on the Devils and dust DVD it also got better. But this ones is remarkably good. Why is there no Poll for this disc by the way? I am still in hope that more people will discover the beauty with surround audio and i had hoped that Dolby Atmos would help with that

If you knew how many times I've almost bought this but I figured that the mixes couldn't be any better than the ones done for the Criterion anthology so I chose not to buy it. I love these crazy bastids.

oh Ralph..!! how awful.. i didn't know anything about that shocking and sad tale.. its too tragic for words. ultimately i hope the dear little children came out of it ok

ah.. well.. "Andy" is a lovely album. i guess not too many 2020 Pop music listening folks would be that receptive to Andy's 70's stylings and check the record out.. tastes have changed so much (he was arguably passé to a certain sector even at that stage in 1976) but if people were to explore hidden gems such as this, i think/hope they might find something of musical merit there.. particularly for us multichannel music lovers the mix is simply superb, by this point CBS' guys were really nailing it i would say

Yes, at the time Adam it was a BIG SCANDAL. Claudine managed to record a few albums for A&M Records which included a few hits, but her marriage to Andy was short~lived.

And yes, I did watch The Andy Williams Show back in the late 60's with my parents .....we had ONE TV in the house.

Hopefully, all those lovely Columbia SQ QUADS which you have been listening to will eventually get the white gloved D~V treatment!
