I just got this today, one of my all time favs.
I'll never forget the tour concert I went to in Chicago 1972, After a leadin of men sweaping floors, etc
Ian came to the mic and said, "first I'd like to play a short little diddy called Thick As A Brick. Then they
proceeded to take up the next hour playing the album and having general fun. After of couse they played
a bunch from Aqualung and other earlier albums.
They just don't do music and concerts like this any more.

I've read the other reviews and I'm still unclear exactly what changes were made.

Finally it arrived,Max Cooper,Emergence,Dolby Atmos.

Be patient with it. IMO it starts moving at track 5 or so. There's a track with rain at track 10 and then it really takes off.

So...I took a chance...and purchased these from discjapan.com
I'm not sure of the provenance of the recording but they sure are 4.0 quad all 4 speakers are active! Now my next step is to find a good dvd-a player, since my Sony UBP-X800 won't have anything to do with these. But my bedroom Sony player will at least pick up the dvd-v Dolby Digital. So that said, there is an MLP mastering on here I've yet to unlock. Not that the DD sounds bad, just that it sounds good for DD quality music. dts would have been preferred over DD to get me by until I get the dvd-a going but beggars can't be choosers. As far as discjapan.com they are super nice and I got these in like 2-3 days!! They FedEx'ed to me and I was expecting to be waiting like 2-3 weeks with COVID and how everything is kinda slower. So props to Disc Japan, I will be ordering more from them soon.
