It is a brilliant album, just that it’s not a brilliant 5.1 mix, for me anyway

Great album that I didn’t much like when first released. I made a comment on SDE that The Soul Cages is my favorite album but Ten Summoner’s Tales is Sting’s best. And, it’s made even better in Surround Sound.Sting TEN SUMMONER'S TALES [A&M/DTS Entertainment/20 bit 5.1 remaster] My very favorite Sting Solo effort!
*2009. The DVD-A might not have been out then, but the deluxe box set with the surround mix on DVD-V was available on release day.
If I listed the CD, I would have noted 2009, but the UK released DVD-A version I was playing was released in 2010. I should have listed the exact copy I was listening to for the anal-retentive.*2009. I guess I usually think of albums in terms of original release date rather than any specific reissue, unless it contains a new mix.If I listed the CD, I would have noted 2009, but the UK released DVD-A version I was playing was released in 2010. I was just having a little fun with you but after your correction post on release date, I had to go look at the disc again and no where did it show 2009 with the exception of when the songs were written. I agree that it should have displayed original release date of the actual album because, if any album is more than a year old, I always have to look at the disc to find the year.I guess I usually think of albums in terms of original release date rather than any specific reissue, unless it contains a new mix.
