Make sure to look specifically for the 2-disc Special Edition. I think the "Deluxe Edition" is the one-disc version but the "Special Edition" is the 2-disc version. I see a few for sale cheap on ebay right now, so don't give up on your search!
Okay thanks, I just bought the one that looked like the picture on the original post 👍

Buddy Miles Chapter VII should be released sometime by DV since they already included Booger Bear on a twofer.

In the meantime I'm having Nightmares from the vinyl jungle with J Geils courtesy of Rhino Quadio

I think everyone got a copy of this whether they ordered it or not

Chapter VII is better than Booger Bear, as good as that is. Bought this on Q8, SQ, 2 ch LP & CD. IMHO, all are lacking in bass. SQ is worst. Even Q8 and CD are low. Still, this might be his best solo effort . Quad mix is killer. Booger Bear and Them Changes are his other great solo records.

Musically, though not solo recordings, Carlos Santana and Buddy Miles is not to be missed. Ditto for Hendrix Band of Gypsies and Electric Flag w/Bloomfield, Buddy Miles is drummer and one of the lead vocalists. A Long Time Comin' is in my top 10 albums. Think BS&T w/Bloomfield's Killer guitar. More blues/soul than BS&T. YOU NEED IT!!

Hear No Evil (single version edit) bonus track on CD version of Chapter VII. Get the SQ or Q8 for a KILLER SURROUND MIX and UNEDITED VERSION.

So I have a big problem. But it's a very good problem to have! So much music coming this year I'm behind again.
I made it most of the way through TPT box set BD, then the Quadio's arrived and Paranoid has taken center stage. Not even listened to Starship or J. Geils yet!
Now Clapton 24 Nights. Jeez Louise have I got a big (good) problem! Only listened to the Rock BD on the Clapton sets, man Eric was at his finest let me tell ya!
Also I've jumped back and listened to Bruce Soord's solo album All This Will Be Yours. Something about that album keeps me going back.

My listening brain knows no order! It's insane! I've been getting a kick out of revisiting Barenaked Ladies DVDA's! Jumping around a lot lately...something pops into my listening brain and I hunt through my digital backups.
Ah the joys of having .iso rips of everything on the pc music machine! In a few seconds I can listen to anything I have...or is it a curse? IDK but I'm rolling with the flow.
Don't need no playlists, never did, uh-uh, no sir. I'm an album at a time listener.

Renaissance - Azure D’Or

I never heard of this band before, it gives me an Earth&Fire vibe, mainly through the female vocals and keyboards.

when @Stephen W Tayler want to work on some Dutch 70s prog, Song of the Marching Children by Earth&Fire is a good candidate.View attachment 93814
The very first album, Renaissance, is a very different band to later ones. The band was originally formed by ex-Yardbirds Keith Relf & Jim McCarthy, then a brief band fronted by Jane Relf, then it became the more well known incarnation fronted by Annie Haslam, saw them loads of times in the mid-late 70s. Embarrassingly this album is still sitting on the to-listen-to mountain! I first became aware of them around about the time of "Ashes Are Burning" in '73. Hopefully we'll get more Renaissance albums in surround, they would work really well.

I love the Dutch band Earth and Fire and have their first four albums when they were rock and prog before they started going pop disco......:(
Great singles. Heart of band were twin brothers who wrote and played guitar and mellotron. Jerney Kaagman was the singer.....who was good.
Please remix them. Jerney I mean Ruby is the one.

Agree about first Renaissance album.
