I'm just starting my second ever hearing of this album by XTC, The Big Express. I have all the other XTC surround sound series releases. Dolby Atmos mix, very adventurous!

Bruce Soord-Luminescence MKV ATMOS download from Immersive Audio Album Shop (I really hope this website user friendly design improves).
Super great sound and Atmos surround. Bruce is now on a higher level in Atmos mix than Steven is.
24bit/48Khz. DR's are 11, 12's, 13's, 14's, 15.
I also purchased the ArtBook with HiRes Stereo and 5.1 which is great, but this download Atmos is greater.

Orginal 1973, this new release 9/23/2023.
4.0 Hybrid SACD Japanese.
DSD64-DSFfile. DR's are 10, 11, 12, 14, 15.
Never been a super big fan of this album, but this 4.0 is quite good and brings the music to a higher level.

I also purchased the ArtBook with HiRes Stereo and 5.1 which is great, but this download Atmos is greater.

I thought about double-dipping for the artbook too, but once you've heard the Atmos version it's hard to go back to anything lesser. Definitely one of the best mixes I've heard this year.

Both these ATMOS Downloads are stunning. Steve just ripping it on the drums. I have followed him for years and have watched many of his drumming videos on YouTube and I know even though he is Cookin' if you saw him he would like hardly moving, wonderful drummer.
These two albums have hints of Hiromi with lots of keyboards.
