Exceeded expectations. Here's my fantasy cover for the vinyl rip of London Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Choir with Special Guest's: Tommy. Would love to see this released by Dutton Vocalion.

It’s been a quad afternoon... Gordon Lightfoot, America, Mingus (the new quadios) and, finally, the Bloomfield/Kooper/Stills Super Session.

On the latter... wow. Just wow. Hadn’t heard it before. It’s fantastic.

If I knew then what I know now, when asked in early grade-school what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have said Quality Control Officer for SACD metadata.

Instead, I went with architect having no knowledge at that age what Quality Control Officer, SACD or metadata meant, nor how incorrect metadata would drive me a bit nuts in my older years.

Turns out metadata editor would have been far more realistic as I never got anywhere close to being an architect.

Man, that one is unobtainium for me! Been searching for years for a decent price. Thankfully, i do have the CD, which sounds wonderful through the Surround Master. Maybe some day . . .

No, you’re not alone. I couldn’t find the “Mingus Moves” poll even theough the search function on the poll index, and the Gordon Lightfoot “Sundown” poll was at least on the second page, maybe even worse.
