Just so odd for me to think she's in HOF. I've never heard one single song of hers. Not that I know of anyway. Something tells me I wouldn't like it, even if I heard it.

Which begs the question.....why more often in stereo? Is there something about the multi-channel mix you don't like?
Nothing wrong with the MC mix, It may be the best I've heard. It's when I get to listen, I want to hear the album, but listening in surround requires a specific location. Most stereo is in the car, on a walk, at work, doing chores and so on. I was in NYC all week for work and stereo was the only option.

Ah, gotcha. I only listen to music at home, in my theater. That's it.

I listen a lot, but, like you, most of the time it’s on the go, so surround isn’t an option. I get a few hours a night to sit in my room and listen to the best mixes, but that’s after picking up leaves with noise-cancelling ‘phones on, driving my mother around (she’s 96 years old and active, but she can’t hardly see), and doing an infinity of projects around the house. And even then, there’s the multitude of streaming shows that may be in surround, but aren’t music.

I feel your pain.

Getting ready for a Quadio delivery at some point so I thought I would spin some Doobies in Quad today. Starting with The Captain and Me. I've had this set since it came out but need to spend more time with it... will listen to the final two albums today before going into hospital tomorrow for a hip operation... great fun.

I LOVE these Japanese SACD/DVD Genesis combos. This one made my Top 5 LIST.
2) Selling England by the Pound (1973): The wonderful wordplay of the title (so punny!) embodies what distinguishes this release for me. My inner recovering Engl-ish teacher wants to rank this as Genesis’s best release: each of the album’s eight tracks (and this one is even longer than Foxtrot!) is a tightly written gem of a story--and the musicianship is at least as good as the songwriting. Sure, there is nothing as hard rocking as “Watcher of the Skies” and nothing as epic as “Supper’s Ready,” but, taken as a whole, this is one amazing, cohesive, and prescient collection. Consider the opening line of the opening song: “Can you tell me where my country lies?” How meaningful is that in a post-Brexit world, and the song is about consumerism! Every track still resonates and sounds as fresh today as when I first heard this back in 1977--those mowing blades have never dulled! Another stellar surround mix; I wonder if it sounds better on blu-ray . . . (All of my Gabriel-era Genesis releases are Japanese SACD/DVD Paper Sleeve Series reissues).

The 4 blu rays they have are great in sound and vision

When I talk to my wife about Lichtmond she doesn't know what it is. I have to tell her about those videos of the kitty in the gondola and then she knows what I mean and she loves it too.
I have several captures (can be found in their web page) as our PC's wallpaper.

I watched that on YT last night. The music alone is worth the purchase of the BD, but the visuals are waaaay groovy!

I can’t wait for the 3D to arrive,
This has been the only 3D video that my wife has enjoyed till the end.
They are really Demo material.

It's a pitty that my projector is not 3D (in Atmos room) and we have to see 3D video in the other room TV Panasonic (only stereo). Just because of these titles I think my next Projector will be 3D
