Picard (DVDs), DD 5.1 soundtracks on all 30 episodes, modest surround effects most of the time, although the .1 does give my subwoofer a workout occasionally.

Seems like I need to watch all the Picard episodes again to figure out the show. :)

I happened across this Steve Stevens DTS DVD-A 5.1 for a great price and scooped it up. I am a flamenco fan and was curious to listen to his take on the genre. Great guitar playing for sure, but his work won’t be mistaken for Paco De Lucia (who I’ve seen live) flamenco playing.

Still - a fun listen. Parts sounded Ottmar Liebert-ish, who’s Nuevo Flamenco album did proceed this release. Part Blue Man Group with some effects and drifting a little toward movie soundtrack - but holy crap there were places on the disc where he absolutely killed it. Worth grabbing if you come across it.

Found this short YouTube with Steve talking about how he came to do this album.
