Perfect Angel - Minnie Riperton (SQ LP)
another one i just cannot til now find the Q8 of (for love nor money, nor "for the love of money"!
) but at least the decoded SQ record seems to make more than a decent fist of it! that often 'heroic' yet fuzzy lead electric guitar is many times prominent in rear right, as is the unmistakeable harmonica of "El Toro Negro" himself.. keys and bass 'seemingly' rear left (pretty sure i detect some acoustic guitar in rear left and tinkley keys in rear right during this album's big hit; "Lovin' You").. it appears Minnie - the main event - is upfront, some other stuff is kind of a little bit SQ-fudge-y but still yummy fudge all the same, the vinyl pressing itself sounds rather nice.. i'll continue to enjoy and be grateful to Involve for their decoding technology voodoo magic that has enabled us to get these kinds of results from the 'lowly' SQ format, thanks yer Aussie Quaddies, keep it up! :upthumb
