you could calibrate your system with the Rocket Man tracks alone, there's so many fabulous 360-degree pans! whee! whizz! bang! honk! woah woah woah! arty

every tune's a total toe-tapper, even a ballad like Yellow Brick Road is arranged in such a funky uptempo way it will have you up on your feet! :banana:

oh the Quad, oh the Quad, yeah the Quad is Back! fresh from the master tapes as a matter of fact!

incredible sounding surround music discs like this remind me why i got into this hobby of ours in the first place.. shine the light, shine the light.. Quadraphonia freedom! I love, love, love it! YES I DO!!! :wave

Incredible verse integration of "the bitch is back" and Philadelphia Freedom...it just jumped off the page at me...I'll have to listen to EJ later today...if I don't those songs will remain in my head:upthumb:upthumb

oh the sound... the sound quality on this beauty is sooooo mouth-wateringly gorgeous! i could just eat this pink one all up! nom nom nom! :ugham: but then it's probably an endangered species! better not.. :violin..i'll just enjoy it all the way to the yummy African Symphony finale and the end of this equally delicious pinot grigio, cheers guys and gals of QQ have a great weekend! :friday:

(seriously, its a phenomenal disc.. my musical tastes veer more to the 2nd (Soul) album out of the two but really the whole thing is reference surround sound quality in my book.. spinning the interpretation of Ramsey Lewis' "Sun Goddess" right now segueing into Quincy Jones-esque (+ sexy strings) version of "Buffalo Soldier".. oooh that's some sumptuous soul, maaaan!
