Listening to Now (In Surround) - Volume 2

So a while ago Supertramp Live In Paris 79.
The surround is basically nonexistant, and it's typical "live concert" fare, but I just wanted to hear me some Supertramp.

I purchased this one when it first came out on the Blu-ray format and it’s one of the few videos I’ve yet to remove the cellophane.

tbh i'd have got each of these Quads individually on 2 SACDs for full whack Japanese prices but don't let the guys at DV know that..!!!

there is one little itsy glitch i've detected, maybe, it could be my setup or my copy of the disc (and its so minor, its hardly worth mentioning) but the transition jumps for a split second in "Faith In The Families" & "Krikkit's Song Passing Through".. its there on my disc/player.. but it's kinda cute and the music, mix and sound quality are so divine, guess what? i say; "fudge it! its still an instant QQ 10!"

so.. this is how Eargasm's supposed to sound in surround, without the constraints of CBS' SQ system.. un-bloody-believable.
42 years down the line, the Quad mix is reborn in the kind of quality i'm simply running out of superlatives for.. what this little label in blighty is churning out now from a Quaddies' point of view is borderline miraculous.
