That’s what cellphones are for. A little text here...a phone call there.
Haha - Facebook Messenger is one of the most popular apps for cell phones. It's cool you have no use for it. It depends on your circumstances. It's a net gain for me.
For example, I wouldn't have talked to Lil Baggins surrogate mom the night she offered to help carry for us, were we not connected and chatting on Facebook...

Concierto de Aranjuez from the Pentatone Remastered Classics series. Absolutely excellent performance! The use of surround on this one is modest, as always with classical music in quad, but what you get is a lot of air, space and reverberation reproduced in your living room. Pretty wonderful!

I would be very interested in your opinion on this Eddy.
I have been recommending this to folk to hear what the Atmos system can really offer.
Well, I like it musically, first of all. In direct, it's playing back for me in 7.2.4. There is no plain Jane 5.1 mix on the disc, so I can't swear how effective the 3D surround is, but I feel both immersed and like there is tons of discrete activity mist of the time.
It's my first Atmos trial on this system, in this room.

Many thanks for your reply.
It was my first Atmos disc after I just upgraded to the new system.
To say I was blown away with the new 360 degree music, is putting it mildly.
I'm now a huge advocate of Dolby Atmos music.
It's just a shame there are not too many Atmos releases to choose from yet.
Hopefully Steve Genewick gets to read this thread and can shed some light on his forthcoming releases.

A little DIY mix this afternoon... listening to this song, I was thinking "man, this is so dramatic... reminds me of Meatloaf"... so after a little Googling I find out this was written and produced by John Steinman... the Meatloaf guy!! Ha ha!
Kind of weird, seeing here damn big head right there....lmao....

And to top off the irony...I just had some meatloaf. :)
