Listening to Now (In Surround) - Volume 2

Mike, a big disappointment for me was the botched [rare for them] DTS Entertainment MLP DVD~A 5.1 of Cassandra Wilson's Traveling Miles on the Blue Note label. Problem was on the DVD~A 5.1 portion there was no front right channel. The Lossy DTS 5.1 and hi Res Stereo layers from the same disc played flawlessly. DTS never issued a replacement disc.

Don't know about this release...then not much point in searching this one out!!
I have the same passion as you when it comes to peeps messing up the mix.
Although in this case I presume its a manufacturing issue.
Really there should be no excuse.
These people have the same ears as us?

This fills my bat cave with so much pleasure.
Don't play classical that often but this is one fine recording and mix.
Not super discrete
But highly enjoyable.

First reaction: Not so impressed with Ian Gillan's replacement, David Coverdale. Sorry Whitesnake fans
He don't just have the right range of vocals for this band..just my opinion folks.

Mix is good though.

And Lord's organ gets a good airing.

Coverdale is GREAT for WHITESNAKE, but TOTALLY agree, not for Deep Purple....MK II is really the only version of Deep Purple that can really call themselves Deep Purple...only my opinion of course
