This page might have the answer:Btw, I tried the "11.1" Atmos and it output 9.1, like all other Atmos sources I've tried. Maybe something isn't right with my player or AVR. If anyone is able to get 11.1 out of this, lmk please!
It does! Might have been nice if they could have been just a wee bit clearer. This page might have the answer:

I've purchased Anathema titles just because I historically couldn't pass up a multi-channel release...from anyone. I NEVER play Anathema.......they just put me to sleep somehow.... I keep waiting for something....that never happens. lmaoAnathema A sort of Homecoming. Just got a new 55-inch 4K tv and playing this blu-Ray loud. For the life of me I don't know why Anathema doesn't get more discussion on here. The sound on this production is unbelievably good. The discrete 5.1 is better than most SACDs and DVD Audio. The picture is beautiful. And I never get sick of listening to and looking at Lee Douglas perform. The brothers are in fine form too.
I agree, they did a great job with "A sort of Homecoming". Anathema/Lee Douglas have the added advantage for me that the spouse and kid like them too.Anathema A sort of Homecoming. I've only seen THIS
yes, he's right.. you wanna see the state of the hole on my Average White Band just to try and temper some of the w&f, a real eccentric pressing if ever i saw one (and i don't mean nutty!).
i hope not but the Groovy fellow you speak of may have a tougher time with OOTN.. my CD-4 of that one appeared to be in great shape but played like a dog no matter what i did, pop crackle betcha by golly wow and flutter the works.
as for Universal-owned material, we don't know what's actually missing (look at the stuff DV's found and licensed in the last couple of years, lots of Mauriat, Swingle Singers, Ray Davies/Button Down Brass.. and we know the Clapton's, BTO, Ohio Players, Steve Miller and Allman Brothers Quad masters were held at one point with all the DTS CDs, subsequent Give Me Strength set. etc) and besides many LPs of UMe owned "missing Quad material" would be QS, don't think that'd cut the mustard with buyers but i could be wrong.
i'm sure it's wonderful! at this point yet another conversion of the AWB Quad is kinda the last thing i need tbh Ralph.. i've two copies of the Q8 & CD-4 of my own i've fiddle-farted around with (not to much avail but some of the process was fun!) and have great transfers from both Q8 & CD-4 done by some of the most talented Quad conversion people going/there's ever been. no disrespect to anyone but its one Quad i've had my homebrew variations fill of, the next version i want to grab is the 4-ch master tape on an SACD/BD-A!
the Wakeman thing is a whole other subject.. and a rabbit hole i'm reluctant to get sucked down into - again.. my own basic assessment is OD's SQ LP may not have been in the best shape and that some of the A&M Quads aren't mixed (shall we say, being kind/diplomatic) entirely to the "strengths" of the SQ system. check out a Q8 or better still CD-4 conversion of Six Wives and you'll never want to bother with any SQ decode of that one again, i promise!
You know , that's not a bad price for Rocks in quad vinyl .
Rocks quad is somewhat more adventurous than Wings (which had 2 quad mixes ) and Toys .
Musically Toys and Wings are better albums , my opinion.
Damn shame we won't see any of them , unless Sony Japan gets the ok from all major stakeholders.
I've heard some pretty decent musical "fiddle farts " over the past few years .
For some lost or damaged multi's .......they may just be the solution .
Regarding the SQ convert of Wakeman : thought I read that the final convert was someone other than overdose ?
....not that it matters much.
I could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time.
Couldn't agree more Freddums .
Of all the 3 majors it's Universal that has to recognize the need for reissuing their motherlode of quad rock/pop jewels which they now covet.
pretty sure Wives was OD SQ and Arthur UMW CD-4.
DV seem to have a good thing going with them, so far we've had 7 Quads across 5 releases freed from the Universal vaults.. could be interesting..
