i'm sure its in the hands of top men ;)

if only the Isley Box Sony put out in 2015 had been a +Quadio affair rather than just the token tacked on couple of SQ-encoded tracks they stuck on the end of 3+3.. d'oh well, they only had room in the box for 23 discs, no way they could've squeezed in a Blu-ray with all 5 Quads from the master tapes.. :ROFLMAO:

Typically Ralphie, I'm hesitant to order this stuff through Amazon, as they don't know their Surround from a hole in the ground:ROFLMAO:, but this is so cheap it's worth the try.

RULE OF THUMB, JP: when ordering 'alien' discs such as DVD~A, SACD and Dualdiscs from Amazon's third party vendors ...... always enquire whether it's in the format you choose. You can email them through your order status.

Sgt Pepper bluray 5.1

This is the super bowl for me just enjoying it for what it is. The closest I'll ever get to the feeling of hearing it on vinyl for the first time. Just wonderful. As others have pointed out discreteness varies from track to track.
Strawberry Fields has a good mix.

You know, Foreigner was such a great band.....I love all their older albums....the deep cuts are my favorites for sure. Lou Gramm simply had a stunning, powerful voice.......and well. They have a great pedigree as a band......noteworthy, Ian McDonald was a key member.....and as we all know, was in King Crimson back in the day. Just great stuff....and Mick Jones was in Spooky Tooth.....for a couple years...along with Gary Wright. Man oh man.....just great musicians.

And...some more trivia....Gary Wright wrote the Spooky Tooth song called, "Better By You, Better Than Me"...which...I always thought was written by Judas Priest, as that's the version I know. Man!!

I really wish we got Head Games and Double Visions on DVD-A as well. I personally think the surround mix on the debut album could've been better, but the mix on 4 is absolutely incredible! One of the best Warner DVD-As.

Michel Legrand
- Holy bleepin' Vocalion:p
I've been listening to this one while posting:whistle:, and this is a real Bobby Dazzler
For this style of music, I've never heard anything more discrete, well mixed and just overall brilliant!!!
Some of the instruments jump out at you and can actually jolt you out of your seat.
