Finally my very first surround purchase..
It all started from here..due to me not knowing what SACD stood for. I thought it was some enhanced,🙄🤔😗 standard CD...

https://www.discogs.com/Elton-John-Honky-Château/release/2061094Terrific mix.

Calling SACD Super Audio CD was, IMO, a misnomer since it had nothing to do with CD. No wonder everyone was confused. If you're going to replace an inferior format with an enhanced one the powers that be at SONY should've come up with a splashier title. By the same token, DVD~Audio had its own problems with Joe Public thinking it should've included actual video instead of music only [but at least a lot of the DVD~Audio discs did include some video, as well.]

I agree with the sole Amazon review. The DVD is more engaging. It's good to see what these crazy dudes are up to.
Same style mix and 48k DTS sounds good.

As previously mentioned, I have about 98% of all the Songline mch/stereo SACDs but this one somehow eluded me. Thanks for the recommendation. At that price [from ImportCD] can't go wrong. Strange is beautiful!

I am never disappointed in this super surround disc from Coldplay, BD-A 5.1, 24/96 PCM.

The Beatles Love Soundtrack. Saw the show last night in Vegas. Second time for me.
What a terrific show. Highly recommended.
But I like listening to this disc at home. To me it sounds better than at the Mirage. ;):rocks

Surprised they haven't released a 3D BD~ video of this LIVE LOVE show. I've also heard they've added some new songs to the original. Glad you're enjoying this fantastic MLP DVD~A discrete 5.1 disc at home. It still remains one of my all time favorite surround discs.

A totally fantastic live show by Peter Gabriel
Growing Up

If you haven't got his, I strongly recommend it.
It has it all.

It's interesting that the version you posted from discogs doesn't list it as multichannel...but it is a PAL version....which would fit a European release...and this version is multi-channel and originated in Argentina....is discogs wrong...or isn't your version in surround?...and then we have the double dip situation with a blu ray and a dvd bundled together here

I have a love/hate relationship with Peter Gabriel...love some of his songs..but I usually hate the audio quality of his releases...
