It's a Scheiner! Not a big fan of LS buy how is that 5.1 that you just posted? Is it very discrete?

Jealous!
Donovan - Fairytale (DVD-A MCH) Well, sort of MCH...but I do like the fidelity and music.
Gene, I recently played that one in MLP Stereo 96/24 as it was one of those Silverline faux surrounds. Sounds better, IMO, in Stereo!
Really wish Dutton Vocalion would release some of those Donovan [STEREO] CLASSICS which are on the EPIC label. Gorgeous, IMO.

Yuko Mabuchi Plays Miles Davis is a tribute to the music of legendary Jazz trumpeter Miles Davis. It features 5 tracks written by Miles Davis plus 3 original compositions by Yuko Mabuchi. For this special album, recorded live in concert in Stereo and Multichannel DSD 256 (and exclusively available in DSD 256 at NativeDSD Music), the Yuko Mabuchi Trio - Yuko Mabuchi (piano), Del Atkins (bass) and Bobby Breton (drums) - are joined by trumpeter JJ Kirkpatrick from the Sophisticated Lady Jazz Quartet. With this line-up of musicians, it is a musical journey you won't want to miss.
Curious as to what kind of music this is (genre / style etc?)Ryuichi Sakamoto (of Yellow Magic Orchestra) - async surround Blu-Ray audio. Gorgeous.

Thanks blue.monk, definitely not enough of that style music in surround. Sounds like right up my alley, and another purchase in the wings!Overall I'd say atmospheric/ambient, but with plenty of variety in instrumentation and soundstage. I find it very engaging. Excellent surround mix.

It was mastered by Bob Ludwig….are you familiar with The Sheltering Sky...a novel by Paul Bowles'...if so you will recognize the spoken words in FULL MOON....."Because we don't know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, some afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more, perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless."Thanks blue.monk, definitely not enough of that style music in surround. Sounds like right up my alley, and another purchase in the wings!
