I was thinking more along the lines of UMe. I know I saw their label on the Hemispheres box set :sick:
I think these SDEs get sort of farmed out. But, I don't know what, if anything, that would have to do with stand-alones.
We got stand-alones for Fly By Night, Signals, Chycki's AFtK. So, maybe? Just not sure who's calling that shot now.

just double checked, here's the info;

EITS boxset : Sony/Arista.

EITS standalone BD-A : Sony/Arista/Real Gone Music.

AFTK SW SDE : Anthem Records/Universal(UMe)/Mercury/Ole.

the standalone's for Fly By Night, Signals and RC's AFTK were all part of Universal's HFPA BD "drive" which is seemingly dead in the water so i wouldn't expect anymore releases of that nature anytime soon.

Well... at least we can set expectations accordingly.
Thanks for the research, Adam.

Fourplay - Live in Cape Town. I think, ah, about a 2008 release. This is on a DVD-V, but it does have DTS 5.1.
I'm super thrilled to see Larry Carlton in this lineup....as jazz guitarists go (and even playing on Steely Dan albums!) Larry ranks if not at the very top then right up there.
You'll never pull my creds as a lifelong rocker, but Jazz, especially progressive, has always been lurking on the periphery and ocassionally impinging on my conscious enough to spend my money;
if not on media but on live performances since my 20's.
....wonder how many Jazz clubs are named "Blue Note"? lol. I've been to a few.
Now if I could get me some Doug Cameron in surround. Sigh...

anytime! :)
anything's possible.. i just reckon on a greater likelihood of SACD pigs flying these days than BD piggies but who knows what's round the corner, BD itself's still around, the majors may have some surprises up their sleeves?! kinda slow year so far surroundwise though..

Dude, you speak just like someone that has over 900 SACD's, +300 DVD-A discs, and speaks with knowledge, and,.....oh, wait. :giggle:
Mr. Mr. you're tops in my book! Hopefully this overt display of forum affection won't go to your head. lol.
All kidding aside, I'm not kidding. Hee hee.
