I think you have the technical details correct. Except, why do the dsd to pcm conversion if you don't have to? Then there are on screen graphics and extras on DVD-A to consider.
IMO, if sacd is your only optical choice, go for it. Otherwise, I prefer DVD-A.

I prefer DVD-A from a collectors standpoint. They are somewhat rare so I have a soft spot in my heart for them. A nice slice of history.
