Some Pink Floyd this morning!

I wonder if the multi-channel mix will differ significantly from the previous one ?
I have the previous one and will try to answer this question. After first listen, I thought the ATMOS was missing the lower bass response from Chris Squire--which you hear perfectly on the 5.1 mix. Also, be careful jumping around with audio choices because some are louder than others.I wonder if the multi-channel mix will differ significantly from the previous one ?
Yes! If you have the volume set for what you normally would for Atmos, and play the stereo instrumentals.....boy howdy! I mean it won't blow your speakers out but it's a bit of a jolt.I have the previous one and will try to answer this question. It is my opinion that anyone critically evaluating a surround mix of a progressive rock band with a drummer should be aware of what they might be missing by not being conscious of keeping the volume at or above the high 70s to mid 80s range.First Listen-Close To The Edge-Atmos.
Seems a higher volume is good I am at average 75.7db.
Wakemans organ in I Get Up I Get Down=WOW.
Like you, I turned my volume up (76db). I am also impressed with Rick Wakeman's keyboard skills.First Listen-Close To The Edge-Atmos.
