I think it's good that SDE is doing releases both for new albums as well as celebrations of older releases. That being said, the newer albums don't often pique my interest, as they are focused on older artists who I feel are no longer on the cutting edge. I understand this may be because the surround sound community skews older (more disposable income, more time on their hands, etc.).

Just my two cents on the topic. I don't mean to say this is a bad approach on SDE's part, just noting why the SDE-exclusive releases don't click with me as much as they may do for others.

these SDE Atmos BD's are very expensive to order from Norway
They are to Germany as well (just a hair under 40€), but at least there should be no additional later costs now that SDE is participating in the IOSS system. Before, I paid 50€ per disc...
Yeah, no email, so thanks for the alert.
I eventually got one, but it really took a while. Funnily enough, I already saw the leaked cover last night before any official announcement, and could find the tracklist, plus a weird image of two CDs in a Blu-Ray case (!) that has since been removed from the MK store, so I suspected there might be something going on in terms of a surround release. When I turned on my computer today and saw chatter about SDE doing the Blu-Ray, I just looked at thesdeshop.com and there it was.

IOSS system does nothing to me as Norway isn't in the EU. VOEC is the thing for us, where the retailer collects the Norwegian VAT, saves me $15 in handling fee. Amazon and cd-japan do that, I'm not sure about burning shed.

Perhaps , but I hope not.
We did get Ten Years After (1971) and Mike Oldfield (1975)
