I received mine yesterday and attend the full concert at my Home Theater. The setlist contains, in addition to almost the entire ID.Entity, relevant songs from previous albums.

Compared to the previous Blu-Ray “Wasteland Tour Box 2018 – 2020. 2 CD / DVD / Blu Ray”, it is more “shaky” with the camera, not as still image from a tripod as the previous one. This sometimes bothers me a little, but it has a better audience atmosphere and harmony between the band and the audience than the previous one, which makes you feel much more like you were there at the concert. Maybe because it is in his homeland, in Warsaw.

The sound is pretty good. A sufficient and balanced 5.1, but the important thing here is the video and feeling like you are there. Delighted, as always, with the predominance of Mariusz's bass, which sounds like a guitar at times and when it behaves like a “bass”, it clearly stands out with its bass line.

For Riverside fans, I find this concert as essential as the previous Blu-Ray of the Wasteland Tour. (BTW, the Wasteland Tour is in full on YouTube).

This band, which for my taste competes on an equal footing with Porcupine Tree, was fortunately able to recover from the loss of the great guitarist Pyotr Gruzinsky, with the addition of the also excellent Maciej Meller.

The Wasteland Tour Box was far too pricey, and had too much duplication, for my level of interest. Even though I don't like the material as much, at least this release is a bit more reasonably priced.

I'm watching this great concert now.
Fully agree with your review, although I'm not so bothered by the camera shots.
The music is fantastic.
The 5.1 mix compliments their show rather than masking it
For all lovers of prog rock music, I fully recommend this live Riverside release of ID Entity.
🤘

and then the concert was over.
Here are my thoughts and opinions on this release -
Surround Mix - a 10. did not have to fidget at all. Perfect
Musicianship - another 10. Duda is the Dude ( reminds me of Geddy with his band leadership )
Atmosphere / Ambiance - a sleeping - or on their phone - audience in a 60 percent filled concert hall. Utter Fail !!! WTF !!! I need to be 'there' with an excited audience. It did not exist here. Geesus, show some energy !!! Show some enthusiasm.

I go 8 on a 10-scale due to the Atmosphere. It could have been killer...................................................................................................

ImportCDs confirmed 2/28/2025 releasee date in response to my customer service email inquiry:

"Our records indicate that the item is expected to be released on 02/28/2025. The item will ship as soon as becomes available."

Amazon US shows the same date.

My discs arrived. Ripped the CDs for the car, will be a bit until the bluray gets a spin. Okay packaging, not expecting much other than the usual Riverside quality release.

For some reason the cd/bd release is hard to find in stock at most US outlets. I had a preorder on Amazon and they still don’t have a firm delivery date. Got tired of them screwing around and canceled. Ordered from a storefront on eBay and it’s supposed to be here in a few days. Was a couple of bucks cheaper, too!

I think publishers might be bean counting a bit more, trying to limit overprinting and having copies go stale in the warehouse. The idea might be "we can always print more if there's demand". This Riverside release, based on activity here and on their Facebook page, wasn't exciting a lot of people so that may have been a safe bet. They're a band I blindly buy, I'm into their level of proggishness and everything they release is of at least good quality. But I also haven't played an album of theirs in quite some time, so not sure how many rabid fans are out there. These things are hard to gauge. They're also treating the USA market as an afterthought, similar to Steven Wilson and Big Wreck I also buy blindly. All these acts have reduced the number of platforms they're making their music available here in the states.

What I dislike about Amazon is that they continue to say the item is in stock, let people continue to order it, but never give a firm delivery date to people with orders and list a bogus delivery date on the product page. Very deceptive at best, and opens up the possibility of Amazon just canceling orders if they never get the product to deliver. Just say out of stock or temporarily unavailable. Is that too honest?

My last Amazon preorder was for Frost's new album (CD). It eventually arrived but after a very long delay. I have experienced firsthand the exact issue you have, and after my last 3 or 4 preorders ended in this same shipping purgatory I have now started just ordering from anywhere else, even if it costs a bit more. Until the past year, I had no issues with preorders on Amazon.

This is specific to preorders, any other physical media I buy from Amazon arrives as expected. I have something en route from them as I type, but is something that's been available for years.
