I thought I would post my preference order of my current Dutton Vocalion SACD purchase, this list probaly mostly influenced by the music more than the sonic quality. Note: all the 4.0's also have a 2.0.
1. Bachman-Turner Overdrive I & II 4.0, great music and surround.
2. Donald Byrd -Street Lady 4.0 great music and surround.
3. Mott 2.0 great music and stereo
4. Grover Washington Jr. - Soul Box 4.0 music is pretty good and great surround.
5. All The Young Dudes 2.0, music is pretty good and stereo is good.
6. The Hoople 4.0, music is pretty good and surround is pretty good.
7. Burton Cummings 4.0 music is pretty good and surround is pretty good.
8. My Own Way 2.0 music is pretty good and stereo is good.
9. Dream Of A Child 2.0 music is pretty good and stereo is good.
Thank you Dutton Vocalion, I am a big supporter so keep them coming, your effort and work is bar none.
One question I have is: Would it be a good idea instead of splitting the stereo albums between two discs, release the 3 album sets on either 3 SACD's or 1 Blu Ray. I have no idea of structure or cost, just wondering?
