I'm still excited for this, even if it’s streaming-only. The Band on the Run Atmos mix was a big improvement from the old DTS release (IMO), so that's bound to be the case here as well. "Rock Show" on the DTS-CD has to be one of the worst-sounding multichannel mixes ever.

Hopefully there will be some bonus tracks (like Junior’s Farm) included on the Atmos streaming release.

A must buy if the Atmos is released on blu-ray. But it looks like vinyl only, not even a CD! Bummer. For now.

The "5,1" mix was actually the original quadraphonic mix with a center channel made by blending the LF and RF channels.

I’d still like to see the two Paul McCartney and Wings Quad titles that were originally released as Q8’s on Hi-Rez Blu-ray. And since they’ve evidently created Atmos mixes of the albums, add those as well, and you would have two great releases.

In this new era parlance, it typically means streaming only, but it’s vague, dumb & confusing isn’t it, because downloads or a Blu-ray (or even a CD) are “digital”
-and not exactly “our” ahooga moment!

Lets go for broke, not just a stand alone but a BOXSET with Dolby Atmos & 5.1 surround mixes, Red Rose Seedway, Band On The Run, Venus and Mars, Wings At The Speed Of Sound, I can dream can't I....LOL> Oh, what the heck throw RAM in the boxset too.... Have to retire this guy : 0 (

An interview on Paul's website today about the album. Ends by saying "Venus and Mars will also be mixed in Dolby Atmos for the first time, available on supporting platforms also from 21st March. Plus, keep an eye out for more exciting Venus and Mars content coming soon."
