At this point in western culture, lampooning rampant consumerism is such an obvious and easy target that I think you have to be really clever or insightful to bring anything new to the observation. Many commercials are already knowing self-parody. I don't think any of the "performance art" associated with TFB was that effective. As to the music, probably enough has been said about it and everyone has formed their own opinions.
