I have that concert here on regular DVD and also on VHS....My problems were with disc 2 only, and it would not even get to the menu. Haven't had time to try the replacement disc yet.

This concert has been issued many times and this isn't the first Blu Ray release. It was available on LaserDisc too.I have that concert here on regular DVD and also on VHS....
You are referring to the 12 in Laser disks?? I don't have that concert but I do have a Deep Purple on which was done early seventies....no light show or color ....just the band rockin out.....This concert has been issued many times and this isn't the first Blu Ray release. I didn't think Laserdisc came in more than one size, they're the same size as an LP. For a long time a laserdisc rip of this concert was the best that was available. When the DVD came out I felt it looked and sounded (due to full rate DTS 5.1) better, but other disagreed especially if they only had a stereo sound system. It was only when the first Blu Ray came out that people finally stopped claiming the Laserdisc rip was the best copy. You are referring to the 12 in Laser disks?? They did. Same format made for music videos and such. EP sized.I didn't think Laserdisc came in more than one size
EP sized? I have 2 vinyle EPs, one is the same size as a 45rpm single but runs at 33rpm so has two tracks on each size. The other is 12" and runs at 45rpm, also has two tracks on each side. So is EP sized one of those two, or something else? The same size as a 45rpm single seems too small to be useful for laserdisc and my other EP is 12" anyway. They did. That is what it was called. Not because of the size compared to a vinyl album, but its function.EP sized?
