Well Folks. It was a dream for many many years. And on March 18 of this year - at the urging of @marpow Markie, he convinced me to document the progress of Dream into Reality . And 70 pages later, here we are. We digressed, we laughed, we debated. And we ( or I ) had fun. And I worked my arse off on this project as there was a house that was built next to the barn. Its done. Almost. Still need a few drywall repairs. Still need paint touch up. Still need some audio tweaks ( another set of sound anchors, etc ). The AV team was here again today and got this sucker DIALED In. I thought I had a nice system at my last house. What they did today is jaw dropping. The clean precise sound coming from where it was produced to be is wonderful. And the video ??? I went from a 2000 vintage projector to a 2024 Sony Projector. Here is - pretty much - the final product. Thanks guys and gals

Thank you for sharing it all. It looks wonderful. I hope you spend countless hours enjoying it.

And I see my prediction was correct, the rear speakers are not where the wires come through the floor. If the floor had been suspended it would be easy to go into the crawl space and move those. I showed this to my mum and she immediately said "that's a trip hazard".
One thing I know as fact. When you build a room and engine, the day it is done, is never the day it is done.
Those quiet moments when Rickie is by himself, there will be questions of sound and tweaking of sound. If everything was nailed down there would be no room for error or moving. We all know that sometimes with speakers a 1/2" of movement can satisfy us.
Isolators under speakers can always be added.

Rickie, congratulations, it all looks so clean and nice, great job, I love the simplicity of it, reminds me of my rig.
I totally love GIK ACOUSTICS for wall treatment. There phone service design is bar none. They even have, what I did was prints, of paintings or you can even send them files of your own photos that they put on the fabric, really good company.
Don't forget your Detroit Mini Helmet.
