My friend bought the album and we spent many enhanced hours listening to it. I also picked up the original gatefold album and still have it.
The second collaboration Evening Star is nice but never grabbed me like this one.

Jeff Beck - Emotion & Commotion

Really nice album (of course) with well placed vocal performances sprinkled in, though I could have done without most of the orchestral bits.
His loss still sticks as one of the biggest in my music fan lifetime.

Ok the Legend of Paul Revere and the Raiders
Both discs.
A lot of songs.
Just wanted their singles that I knew expected not to like all of this.
Did like some early instrumentals several not released before, songs and late period stuff Including Indian Reservation when they tried to get heavier and save their career.

Is this collection better than the later Essential Paul Revere another 2cd set with far fewer songs?
I don't know. But the sound is good and I have the singles I like. I look at this set as a library where I can pull out the ten or so songs I like to hear.
There is a place in my heart for bubble gum pop....
