In my previous listening room that was 11'x13', to dip my toe in room treatment before spending money and/or time building acoustic panels myself, I bought cheap Amazon foam squares and put them on my back wall, as I felt I wasn't getting great channel separation from the rears. It made a massive difference. I'm looking at panels from GIK Acoustics if I decide I dont want to build them. Anyone have any experience with them? I'm playing with their configurator, it's pretty neat. Any advice?

While I don't personally use any of GIK acoustics' wares, I've recommended them to fellow enthusiasts countless times and then further advised/assisted with their employment. In my experience, GIK's product line is comprised entirely of effective, useful acoustic treatment products at very reasonable cost. The manufacturing and materials quality isn't up to the high standard set by industry leaders ASC or RPG but GIK's products are a fraction of the price of those flagship acoustic treatment brands.
Alternatively if you would like to take a stab at DIYing some or all of your acoustic treatments, I can provide some good advice there too. Much of my acoustic treatments are DIY and built to a very high standard (better than GIK).
