My copy is arriving on the caravan heading my way on December 1st.
Me too!!Mine just arrived!
I'm using DHL also right now but have to pay extra $23 Cdn for custom.Do you pay this fee as well in the US?i would just like to say that I have always been impressed with the shipping and packaging from CDJapan with these 7" SACDs. I honestly do not think the shipping is that expensive. They use an oversized box, the thing is wrapped in bubblewrap, and it arrives very quickly - in many cases, quicker than places based in the USA!! I always chose their standard DHL shipping and it has never failed for me, and I've bought every one of these things.
I would hope many of you agree. They do a great job getting this stuff delivered

Don't be surprised by the quality and packaging of the CD. This is made in Japan. I got my copy just a few minutes ago and will be celebrating in my studio later on. I have this same hope like you - we want Borboletta next!Well much to my surprise the Caravanserai JSACD arrived today via DHL. Considering the release date is 11/30 it's amazing that it made it's way from Japan a day before the release date. As usual the packaging from CDJapan is outstanding. The disc is packed in an oversized box with paper for cushioning then the disc itself is in a bubble wrap sleeve. Incredible!
The SACD packaging is also incredible. The outer cardboard sleeve is printed in a high gloss with an almost metallic printed album cover. The packaging of these Santana JSACDs are excellent IMO. Now to the best part... drum roll please... the 4.0 SQ is easily by far the best of all of the Santana 4.0 SACDs IMO. The 4.0 mix is very immersive with excellent instrument separation and clarity. My favorite track on the entire album Song of the Wind is playing and it sounds amazing!
I highly recommend anyone that is a fan of Santana, Caravanserai and 4.0 quad order this right away from CDJapan! The shipping cost from DHL is not cheap but they provided email updates right to the point of delivery at my front door.
Hopefully Borboletta and Welcome will be soon to follow!
So how do you call Abraxas?Heresy! Welcome is the crown jewel in Santana’s catalogue.
Totally agree with you.I'm 70 and enjoy those japanese SACDs much better than 50 years ago.I received notice yesterday on the 28th that my shipment was on the way with an expected delivery for Dec. 1. Got a text today at 10:30am that my package was out for delivery. It was on my front porch an hour later.
Ordered both Caravanserai and III to help spread out the shipping costs and it seemed CDJapan was the only place with III available. Received Abraxas last week from ImportCDs using their 10% off coupon and have the first Santana album on the way from DeepDiscount after using their 15% off coupon. Hadn't really planned on getting all these—my main interest initially was Caravanserai—but damn if these aren't some of the nicest looking and sounding reissues. Some of you older quad folks will appreciate the replicated inner sleeve from Caravanserai featuring a photo array of available (at the time) quad equipment.

WOW! I never heard about The Allman Bros. Australia shipping is more than the item. As much as I'd love these SACDs I simply can't afford the total priceOoops. I never thought of shipping to 'other parts of the world'. Shipping to the US was pretty fair. I will say, however, that when I sell stuff on eBay, if the buyer is in Europe or overseas, the shipping is outrageous. Sometimes shipping a single DVD-A to Europe can be almost $30 with the cheapest rate. It makes no sense to me

You could wait for regular shipping to resume, as long as stock doesn't run out! Good idea to order other titles at the same time!Australia shipping is more than the item. As much as I'd love these SACDs I simply can't afford the total price
