Feeling a little "mortal" and I guess, sentimental. My wonderful wife turns 60 this Saturday. This photo is in 1987, just a couple months after our wedding. We used to have so much fun!! She's wonderful!

Happy Times indeed Gene as I too got married in 1987...
My son Matt reminds me each year....as he's 36!! :D
And was at the wedding!!
Which is probably why my father-in-law was carrying a shotgun!!

:ROFLMAO: Sick!
A scientist claims he has increased his lifespan by 20 percent after living 93 days underwater. Joseph Dituri, 55, a retired Naval officer, has been living inside a 100-square-foot pod at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean for 93 days, researching how a pressurized environment impacts the human body -.8 hours ago

I got married in January 1987. My one regret is that we always end up celebrating on a Saturday night, which means that I have to miss an NFL Playoff game. (That and the fact that our plans to dine out occasionally clash with a Massachusetts nor’easter).

GOS, your wife looks so happy. Obviously, this was well before you started spending money on things like Immersion box sets! 😉

I can’t wait for the Rob Reiner movie to come out: “When Dituri Met Bernoulli.” I can picture Dituri sitting in his undersea pod in an Octopus’s Garden in the shade. In my mind’s eye he looks like poor claustrophobic Nigel from a scene in “Spinal Tap.”

I would expect the percentage increase in life expectancy to only go up to 11.

A friend whose wife passed on after 'the long goodbye' eulogized her at the memorial service. I'll never forget his words: "I knew never to argue with (name), so I learned to get by with silence and deceit." The whole church burst out laughing.

Jaco Beach, Costa Rica...1987 My very first trip out of the USA. Right on the Pacific Ocean. I was there for business, arrived on a Sunday. I was blacked out by 9PM laying on the beach in the dark...clinging to a large driftwood with waves crashing over me. Luckily, some locals found me and carried me to my hotel. My first and last experience with Tequila. :hi

The last thing I really remember was a couple of UK soldiers (girls) telling the bartender to keep this bloke's hands off of us. That bloke was me. Not very proud of that, but hey....Tequila and a 27 year old.

Tequila Stories.......hmm......now THAT would be an interesting / entertaining new thread here on QQ. I would - embarrassingly - be able to contribute.
