My grandson said today that he likes the Taylor Swift song The Black Dog. I responded, "Oh yeah, Black Dog is one of my favorite Led Zep tunes.

It is the responsibility of us older folks to teach today's youth. :ROFLMAO:
AR, talk about a SWIFTY Kick in the ARSE!

I fully acknowledge that Iam the least educated person in the field of Quadraphonic on this site. While I enjoy reading posts here, more than half the time, I haven't a clue what the abbreviations mean or understand the subject. But I still try to learn new things from people that are in the subject field. AND Ive been introduced to music that I never would have given a second look.
Classic Rock was all that was in my wheel house, so to speak

So here's a question for the experts............Is there any loss using BT to my Sansui 9001?
I bought a bluMe Pro to send my Apple Music account to the 9001 by bluetooth

Today is the first time Ive listen to the Sansui all day in 50yrs........ and it sounds great to me!
I sat in the middle of Mingus Moves twice today

Oh, I broke down and got an Oppo that arrives thursday. Will the music get better with my Quadio's than what Ive been enjoying so far?

I believe the youth feel exactly the same responsibility to teach us old black dogs new tricks! Man, i wish i had grandchildren. Well, at least i have surround . . . and the occasional Taylor Swift song!

When i asked my daughter which of the four The Tortured Poets Department vinyl variants to purchase, she told me to get the one with "The Black Dog" as the bonus track!

So last night before football I was watching America's Funniest Home Videos. Don't hate me for this because my brow couldn't get any lower.

Anyway a very funny home video unfolded in a family living room with a big TV playing. I don't remember the home video antics but the TV had the Oppo screen saver playing. I felt connected.

No expert, but I’ll chime in with a non-response.

Probably, if you have the right connections. Most Oppos have excellent DAC (digital to analog converters) so I use analog connections out of my Oppo into my Marantz pre-pro. I like the results.

I’ve played the same files from the same thumb drive plugged into the Oppo and the Marantz, and while the difference isn’t striking, I prefer the Oppo, even if the signal path is a little longer.

Tim & Steven with some 1982 thoughts; ugh... I still need to crack open my Powder Dry!
*As to the 80's being the best music years (it is fantastic) but, I beg ta differ, it is the 70's mates!

For the third time in 13 months (surely a record hereabouts) we may get another hurricane.
I'm seriously getting too old for this crap.
I've been keeping eye on the FL weather. Looks like Tallahassee is in the middle of the path. That's a bit north of you I thinking? Hoping the best for you. Keep us informed.

Thank you. I'm just South and East of Tally, in Suwannee County. Tallahassee is roughly 82 miles away, we're sort of as the crow flies halfway between there and Gainesville.
I hate it for the Big Bend area of Florida if they catch the bulk of it. But I am selfish enough to not want to go through it the 3rd time in 13 months. I've managed to more or less reclaim about 2 acres from Idalia August 30th last year, and Debbie in August this year.
But is what it is I guess. If we absolutely have to DD out we will to stay safe. If only a CAT 1 we'll ride it out like last time.
We welcome all good thoughts toward All That Is to protect us and our home.
