Isn't it funny when your watching TV and you hear a cell phone buzzing. And you think it's your own.
Where is it? Where is it?
Where is it? Where is it?
By the way, on a personal note. What IF you were prescribed a blood thinner that you were told you must take twice a day, and your insurance outfit recommends it be mailed to you for a lesser cost?...........................and it winds up in USPS limbo land? We will pay a bit more to go and get it in town. No choice....yup! We had an item rotate past our little town twice. Way around the country. This has happened a couple of times last few months. Called our little local PO. We know them well. Took care of business...
Mail these days is so fd up. Is it a hiring problem? Incompetence .. BOTH?
Funny? You're saying that you're not the stereo-type? Or you need a Y Splitter?I thought it would be so funny to mix in 6.0 (6.1 cinema layout but without the subwoofer) and then I tried it and realized I really struggle to assign anything in that center rear channel because anything I pull to the rears tends to be very...stereo-y.
I would like to know the answer to this as well. Unfortunately I am probably going to be a candidate for them soon.Curious question: For people who use hearing aids does it change your listening of music? Do you pick up on all the surround locations from your speakers? In other words do you feel you are getting the full music experience? Please let me know in the comments. Thanks.

I’ll be seeing how all that goes in a few weeks. I had a hearing test and the doc recommended hearing aids. Of course, that’s their business, but I agreed to see how I got along with them.Curious question: For people who use hearing aids does it change your listening of music? Do you pick up on all the surround locations from your speakers? In other words do you feel you are getting the full music experience? Please let me know in the comments. Thanks.
My hearing is better in my left ear than in my right. I enjoy live music and music in mono or stereo with or without my hearing aids. My hearing aids, however, are essential for receiving accurate spatial cues when listening to active 5.1, 7.1 and Dolby Atmos mixes.Curious question: For people who use hearing aids does it change your listening of music? Do you pick up on all the surround locations from your speakers? In other words do you feel you are getting the full music experience? Please let me know in the comments. Thanks.
That’s before @chucky3042 gets his hands on it!Too bad it is probably only in stereo.
So sorry to hear of your medical issues. I hope that relief comes to you in short order.Health issues has had me down for awhile, I've was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis
Was receiving a monthly infusion that has helped greatly, but as with all drugs, it's the side effects. Ive been dealing with melanoma skin cancers popping up. Doc changed my treatment to a new drug, but only have received the first infusion of this, and was told not to expect relief till the 4th dose. So still have a couple months till, hopefully pain free........So my music has been my therapy
Just in time for winter, Paul @ EBC Electronics worked his magic on my Marantz 6300. Recapped and cleaned and ready to go.
Great service at a fair price right here in Manville NJ
Ordered a few pieces of vinyl from Rhino during their Christmas sale, and also the Quadio bundle from Joni Mitchell for half price
Tracking shows them being delivered wednesday
Plus a few from CDJapan, as Ive finally learned how great the sound is with SACDs
Now it's time for me to step up my game on a cart, which I know absolutely nothing about.
AT seems to be the leader from my reading on whats available, and getting one of Norio Shibata's style carts is the right direction to go.
Just not sure if my old ears will hear the difference between a $200 and a $400 cart
What a learning curve this has been, going from 1976 tech, straight to the current technology with no stops in between
Yes.Curious question: For people who use hearing aids does it change your listening of music? Do you pick up on all the surround locations from your speakers? In other words do you feel you are getting the full music experience? Please let me know in the comments. Thanks.
Hearing aids over the past few years keep getting more and more advanced. At least one of the newer iterations(the Phonak Audio Infinio) even includes a separate AI chip designed to improve on listening in social situations. Further, there are programmable Bluetooth apps where you can set various parameters to suit your own personal preferences. I own the Phonak Audeo hearing aids that include Bluetooth and music settings(among other settings). Yes, they are life changing!Yes.
Life changing in surround listening as well as conversation in social situations.
Don't hesitate.
Ask for a full fidelity "music" option to got with the standard "noisy party" etc. settings.
