As much as I loved Barbara Feldon in the “straight man” role of 99, no one will touch the brilliance of Diana Rigg as Emma Peel!Smart phones are nothing new, phone style may have changed a wee bit since the mid-late-60s though!

Oh man, Iam truly sorry to hear this. How old were the films? The worst feeling in the world is going back to old family photos and videos on film for digitization...and running into rot.
How about reading in an old project from Protools HD days (15-20 years ago) and the saved file path from the handful of missing files ends with "Desktop/"!The worst feeling in the world is going back to old family photos and videos on film for digitization...and running into rot.
Some as recent as the 2000s...let's just say they were not stored in a very film friendly location.Oh man, Iam truly sorry to hear this. How old were the films?
I have a dozen or so VHS tapes that I’m hoping against hope that I can find a deck that will play them so I can digitize them. They didn’t play last time I tried (looks like mostly weak control tracks, IIRC).The worst feeling in the world is going back to old family photos and videos on film for digitization...and running into rot.
Are your VHS tapes home movies?I have a dozen or so VHS tapes that I’m hoping against hope that I can find a deck that will play them so I can digitize them. They didn’t play last time I tried (looks like mostly weak control tracks, IIRC).
When my mom passed away last April, I found a stack of boxes of photos anout three feet high. A lot of them are in good shape, but a lot are duplicates. I intend to go through them, weed out the dupes, send them to siblings and digitize the best copies in at least 4k resolution. Couple of years, that one.
A few of the tapes are home movies, but most are TV shows. I haven’t checked in a couple of years, but when Imdid, the shows wereen’t available commercially. Are your VHS tapes home movies?
I found that my home videos always looked better when played back through the camcorder that they were recorded on. I had totally forgot about that when I sold the camcorder many years ago.
I just recently picked up a nearly identical one at a thrift store. Haven't tried it out yet, but I'm hoping it plays like my old one.
I always preferred the manual tracking control over the automatic tracking.
