I haven't posted my count for a while. After recent acquisitions I have a 95 and two 203s, all with hardware multi region DVD and blu ray mods. The 95 is set for Region A blu rays and used for SACD-R, and a 203 is set for Region B blu rays, both in my rack in regular use. The other 203 is a spare. My parents have a 93 with Oppo super disc loaded for DVD multi region. I also have an Arcam DV137 in the loft which is a DVD-A/V and SACD era universal player.

I have a 970HD, a 103, and a 105D, all software-modified to be region-free for DVDs. The 105D is used mostly for playing SACDs and the occasional DVD but it also serves as my HDMI switcher/digital front end. I have an Apple TV connected to its rear panel HDMI input and use that for streaming or for playing video content stored on my Synology NAS. The 105D’s analog outputs are the perfect complement to my Parasound P7 (all-analog multichannel preamp) and external amps, and I’d be lost without either component because I don’t want the complication and bulk of a multichannel pre/pro or receiver. I’ve even tried a couple but sold them off and came back to the simplicity of the P7.

I love my 203. Bought it about a year before they went out of the business.

The owner experience has been wonderful, but it started with the out of box experience. I still have the fabric Oppo tote bag that they wrapped the unit in instead of plastic - classy move, and a nice brand reinforcement.
I also have the box with all the packaging and the black tote bag too. Very nice 😊

Anyone have any experience with any networked media players that will pass 4K HDR10 to an AVR for playback? Not a disc spinner......
Cheap is good if it works.....

I don't have any disc spinners that will play 4K, but I mainly use the pc for playback anyway.
Just trying to prepare when the 4K TV for the audio room gets here. If I can't do it through software (JRiver, VLC) then I will have to go another route.

A friend has offered me an M9702 but he's got a lot going on right now and I don't want to bother him about it.

I should have added, I have all of the boxes, manuals, tote bags, included cables, remotes, and wifi dongles as relevant for all 5 of the above players. That's pretty amazing given 3 were bought second hand.

I bought my earliest Oppo's direct from them, still have boxes, bags, etc. The 103 I bought off EvilBay and had everything original including the WiFi and USB dongles. Lot of scratching around the second HDMI output though. Must have been a real bitch to reach. lol. Know how that goes....

I have a Roku that I bought because it passes 4k, although I can’t display it. So I won’t make any claims about its capabilities in handling HDR, etc, but it’s been great with 1080p and 5.1.
