The shipping costs from Japan ARE expensive; however, CD Japan does have multiple shipping methods/carriers available and DOES allow you as the customer to hold back items in order to combine them into one (1) to save shipping costs. Of all the companies that I order Blu-ray's, CD's and SACD's from whether foreign or domestic, CD Japan is by far the best at getting me the product that I have ordered (and many times a few months previous as a pre-order) on the day of release AND exquisitely packaged to ensure product integrity. Finally, they offer a rewards program that many times also offsets the additional shipping costs. A great company and one that I wish others would imulate their approach in serving their customers.

I suggest bundling the Laura Nyro with the latest (or any) of the Santana 7" Japan SACD releases to cost average shipping. CD Japan also may still have other 7" quad SACDs, or other titles that may only be available as an import. That is what I do anytime I order from them.

Exactly what I did, bundled Nyro with the new Santana. It’s pricey, but they are great releases and packaging.

If this is your first purchase from CD Japan, then you might be surprised at how much effort is placed in the packaging of your order when you receive it from DHL, etc. This extra care is especially important when shipping more fragile releases such as the Japanese SACD'S/mini LP packaging that you just ordered... Cheers!
