This is excellent news. As a UK resident I'm glad I held off importing directly from A24, but feel sorry for those that did or sprung for an inflated eBay purchase.
It would have saved me €25 if I had known this earlier. But now I have already been watching the movie twice and otherwise I would have had to wait for another couple of weeks.

merging this with existing Stop Making Sense thread
Wouldn't it make sense (I know this thread is called "Stop Making Sense" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ) to have a separate thread?? I was wondering not to find any hint of this release unless I used the search option.
Apart from that, I am happy with the "Audio only" version since I do have the film on Blu-ray already although I would have gone for the 4K, but not at this price!

Looks like most of the product is already sold out, although the A24 site still has the 4k going for stupid money. While the audio only 2cd/1bd has a better price I can't imagine really enjoying this concert without actually seeing the incredible, bonkers performance. Anyway, I'm glad I hung on to my ancient DVD with 3 mixes of the soundtrack (2 surround, 1 stereo), which itself is now selling for stupid money on the secondary market.

I’m glad I bought SMS, even though the price was way more than I ever spent on a single movie. But I was afraid that it would sell out before I could get it. And I mentally justified paying that price by thinking about all the money I saved in the past few years because I bought most of my media purchases when they were at their lowest price point…..

To me the studio 5.1 mix is the best. The ATMOS (in 7.1 audio) is really unlistenable. The volume levels are just too low on that track. The 5.1 Studio blows it away. I must say that this decision was made while going through the various audio options for Making Flippy Floppy.

While I did find the mastering engineer set the levels for the Atmos mix rather conservatively, there was zero issues with dynamics and turning up the volume control an additional 5-6 dB addressed this with zero issues.
