I just ordered mine from SDE and given it’s a Sunday, fingers crossed they actually still have it in stock even when they say it is. Don’t know anything about this album but according to Allmusic it’s a 4.5 or so star effort. Two ten point reviews on this forum so far. Good enough. And it’s Dolby Atmos mixed by the reliable Steven Wilson! Can’t wait to hear this.

Received my shipping notification on Tuesday but package wasn’t dropped off to the Royal Mail until Thursday. Tracking shows it left the UK on Friday. My Burning Shed orders take close to two weeks from time of shipping notification. My SDE orders are about a week.

Aren't second-hand items exempt from import and export taxes?
It really depends on the country regulations. In Europe, if it comes from out of Europe, you have to pay customs taxes and then 20% VAT on the sum of the item, the shipping and the customs taxes. In my case, the sending itself and the declaration form for customs were 32 euros (before the buyer would have to pay any taxes -or not- in his own country). In that case, I had no choice. No sending firm, post office or not can authorize shipping without you producing the form.

Chicago again. Usually the bottleneck

In my mailbox today. It's absolutely superb. SW has done it again.

The early versions of "Mad World" and "Watch Me Bleed" are very cool. Listening to the instrumental mixes right now and really digging it. Really wish we could have gotten instrumental mixes on the other TFF titles.

Now let's have The Big Express and Who's Next! So glad that SW is a fan of so many of my favorite bands!

Can finally retire my older UMG STEREO only Pure BD~A.

I was thinking the same thing! Somehow though, I think its average price on Discogs is about to drop considerably.

Mine went from IL to Indiana to Missouri lol hopefully tomorrow.. on holiday it went IL to me in one day.
Mine is finally moving again. It arrived to the bottomless pit, called Chicago on June 10th. Just now, it says it's moving to next destination...which, better be Champaign, IL. From there, it will come to papa. lol

Wednesday is still the target.

Can't listen to the surround at the moment. However, the stereo mix is impeccible. My memory of tape hiss from the cassette I had years ago have quickly faded in the light of this amazing resurrection.
My memory is of the LP so no tape hiss in my brain, but this sounds amazing. Takes me back and higher.

One of my very favorite albums of the 80s (along with “Big Chair”).

Oooh—how about some Howard Jones for SDE? I’m guessing SW is probably a fan of his first two albums?

SWT would probably be the one to do any Howard Jones mixes? 🤔

Brexit sucked , and it still does. A failure from many perspectives.. I pay between 7-8 euro at the post office VAT for each release ..at least this one did not get held up and arrived in record time , one of my favorite 80s albums , a desert island disc for many , can’t wait to hear what Mr SW did with this one !:)
