Telarc and Heads Up Multi-Channel SACDs!

just a kinda fyi (and a fwiw! ) these are the Telarc/Heads Up discs i decided to keep out on the shelves ("Spin" notable by its absence! ) so i guess they must have been among my preferred listening experiences on the label..!?

(n.b. in the bottom pic., only the 3 x Ladysmith Black Mambazo discs and Philip Bailey's "Soul On Jazz" are on the Telarc/Heads Up label, the others are Jerry Goldsmith/OST's on Varsese Sarabande & Decca/UMG & the 3 x Sugar Hill Records M/C releases, 2 x Nickel Creek's & a Dolly Parton)

(oh and another n.b., the pix are rotated to facilitate reading of titles on jewel case spines and to save me typing it all out on my phone! )

Under the Concord Banner and their subsidiary Craft Recordings, they have released THE SOUND OF MUSIC deluxe, A Charlie Brown Christmas DELUXE and Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band's The Traveler in DOLBY ATMOS on BD~A.

I have the latter 2, not the Sound of Music, didn't realize they were Concord.

Make note it is only a three piece, however Russell Malone is a killer guitarist

Those post Jaco Pastorius titles are really great for surround though

That Terminator 2 OST is worth a pretty penny . . .

IMO, the two Al Di Meola Telarc Discs FLESH ON FLESH and THE CONSEQUENCE OF CHAOS are outstanding discrete Multi~CH SACDs!

thank you! i lucked out and found the T2 OST SACD new & sealed for £57 on Amazon France in May 2014 i'd been searching for years even at that stage so i knew it must be fairly scarce but i've only seen 3 other copies online in the 10 years since and only 2 of those were for sale (1 on eBay fairly recently and there's one on Amazon Germany right now that's around £500+ quid ) pretty surprising because just about all the other hard to find MultiCh SACDs from that timeframe have popped up more often, it must be even thinner on the ground than i thought that said, there are folks on here who have SACDs that i've never found like Tarmac's "Notre Époque", the Battiato 2 disc live set, Will Tura's "De Mooiste Droom", etc., even though they're more obscure than T2 i'd still love to find them someday and see how they all sound in Surround!

Precisely I mentioned Flesh on Flesh yesterday in the "Listening to now (in surround)" thread and described it as one of my favourite 5.1 mixes ever.

If at least a few other Telarc releases are nearly as good as this one, I think I'm in for a treat! I had missed this thread and I've just stumbled upon it now. Lots to explore

Now that I think about it, it's weird that I bought Flesh on Flesh 16 or 17 years ago, loved it at first listen, but it's still the only multichannel Telarc release I own as of today. I also have Consequence of Chaos (I'm a big Di Meola fan), but in stereo.

Consequence of Chaos is dazzling in multi channel and a tour de force performance from Di Meola as well.

You have good taste! I have had both of these Al Di Meola 5.1 SACDs since they came out. I have most of the Telarc 5.1 SACDs!!!! Almost without fail Telarc's 5.1 SACDs have nice 5.1 mixes!
