Found this on eBay for a great price. The OG Jimmy Reed layin’ down 23 gems. Was supposed to be a live album but issues came up which prevented recording, so the band went in the studio a few days later and recreated the show. Absolutely great sound and performance.

I still think one of the best Blues collections- for newcomer and veteran listeners both- is the Bear Family series “Plug It In! Turn it Up ! Electric Blues”- 4 separate sets with 3 CDs in each, roughly in chronological order with individual CDs devoted to instrumental blues songs, White artists, and Soul Blues
I feel slightly guilty taking all this incredible AI power intended to make the world a better place and making potato songs. (I did one in the style of Ronnie James Dio, too, although not an album cover.) But, yeah... I think it’s cool, too.
A bit more useful, in the context of actual info, was asking it about Hopkins recorded work, and then asking for more details about his music in the 40s. Not as good as a well-done biography (read Alan Govenar’s book about him last year), but some nice reading to go along with the listening of an album.
Interesting, I see on Amazon the four 3 disc sets run about $40.00 each.
