Recently the Dodgers have been in Asia participating in exhibition games for the start of the season. A few days ago they were in Japan. More recently they were in South Korea. Before the Dodgers’ Seoul Series game against the Kiwoom Heroes got underway at the Gocheok Sky Dome, the 29-year-old film star Jeon Jung-seo stood on the mound to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.:

Meanwhile in Kansas City I see our beloved Andy Reid will throw out the first pitch for the Royals:

This contrast could be discussed sooo many different ways....

@Sonik Wiz Yes, quite a difference. From the video, I couldn't actually see what sort of pitch she threw. ..but very nice form there.! That didn't really matter since she was so nice to look at...
Of course, Andy Reid, is more in the over-fed Walrus category but still a class act in another sense! Coo coo ca choo

She is definitely easier on the eyes than Andy, but both are celebrities in their own right.

(Edit: I doubt that we’ll ever see her in a State Farm commercial, though.)

Mainly I'm hoping that Andy's pitch brings some good luck to the Royals season. Not much of a baseball fan but it's tough being the Lions of MLB.

What!!!! They beat the Mets in the 2015 World Series. That is most definitely not Detroit Lions type of behavior.

Ricky......I was ready to say 'What about the Tigers?'...but I see they have a 1984 WS win & a few AL titles.
So Yep, the Lions were without rival when it came to sucking!
But not anymore!

Sometimes, but not since the followup on my knee repairs.

Edit: My orthopedic surgeon was an Assistant Team Physician for the Steelers and Penguins.
