I hadn't heard this. Maybe Jones can do a tag-team with Rodgers on Jeopardy. LOL. But this throwing of huge money at QB's who shoot their load in one career year is crazy.

Meanwhile, two teams with Jets reject QBs (Darnold and Geno) have their teams in the running for a playoff spot.

Great run! I was watching the game & that got me excited.....
But like AR said, can they beat them in the playoffs.
Marpow- SF has owned GB in recent games. I see that continuing! GB is playing 49ers @ a bad time.....
.....& in the fwiw section, wow has Dallas fallen on hard times! A 3-6 record. The mighty have fallen.....

Think about how much money was invested in Jones, Rodgers and D Watson, only to have all three fail miserably. All three were huge gambles going in, but three foolish owners took the bait and believed in their respective pipe dreams. Happy that I am no longer a season ticket holder, so it’s not my money. As a fan however, it is painful to watch millionaires and billionaires underperform and waste time and resources. Then they have the balls to ask for public $ to build new stadiums. Grrr…

Rodgers is still a good QB, but he certainly can no longer carry a team like he used to. The Jets defense collapsed in the 4th quarter yesterday and Rodgers couldn't bail them out.

Jones is a backup-plus caliber QB, which means he is a superb athlete and worth millions, but nowhere near $40 MM per year.

Deshaun Watson is a nightmare who may end up in the slammer sometime in the future.

The family of a person on our Sicily tour used to own Jaguars season tickets. That's another big mess team right now.
