Daniel Jones is out for the Giants. Tommy "Cutlets" Devito is the QB going forward. Jones has taken his last snap for the Giants. Paying him was a major mistake.

I hadn't heard this. Maybe Jones can do a tag-team with Rodgers on Jeopardy. LOL. But this throwing of huge money at QB's who shoot their load in one career year is crazy.
Meanwhile, two teams with Jets reject QBs (Darnold and Geno) have their teams in the running for a playoff spot.
But will the Bills get their revenge come January when it really counts? I think we shall see if they do?

Great run! I was watching the game & that got me excited.....
But like AR said, can they beat them in the playoffs.
Marpow- SF has owned GB in recent games. I see that continuing! GB is playing 49ers @ a bad time.....
.....& in the fwiw section, wow has Dallas fallen on hard times! A 3-6 record. The mighty have fallen.....

Think about how much money was invested in Jones, Rodgers and D Watson, only to have all three fail miserably. All three were huge gambles going in, but three foolish owners took the bait and believed in their respective pipe dreams. Happy that I am no longer a season ticket holder, so it’s not my money. As a fan however, it is painful to watch millionaires and billionaires underperform and waste time and resources. Then they have the balls to ask for public $ to build new stadiums. Grrr…
I will enjoy this Bills victory for the next two weeks. I will not think of future playoff nightmares. Thank you for the reminders, team.

Rodgers is still a good QB, but he certainly can no longer carry a team like he used to. The Jets defense collapsed in the 4th quarter yesterday and Rodgers couldn't bail them out.
Jones is a backup-plus caliber QB, which means he is a superb athlete and worth millions, but nowhere near $40 MM per year.
Deshaun Watson is a nightmare who may end up in the slammer sometime in the future.
The family of a person on our Sicily tour used to own Jaguars season tickets. That's another big mess team right now.

I think Jones, like Watson, is broken. Rodgers has aged relatively quickly and can’t carry the load each week, as you said.
Yes, the Jags are a disaster, as are the Browns. Two teams going further away from success with every game.

I bleed for you Gene. Chicago suffered The Double Doink in 2018. With that one, the defender got just enough finger skin on the ball to deflect the kick. This latest block was a bit more definitive, but still friggin' close.
If the Bears were in a weaker division, they would still have a shot at the playoffs. But they are not and their goose is cooked.
yeah man! I have no doubt they have zero shot at the playoffs, I can actually handle that. I just want them to win a couple games here and there and look like they're making some improvements. Oh, and I would like them to strategically beat a team who does have a shot, and make their life miserable. lol. I need something to smile about.

Watching yesterday's field goal attempt in real time, it looked to be good. The live view was from far behind the kicker, so it was kicked straight and had height initially.
The announcer's reaction was my first indication that something had gone awry. As you can guess, I was ecstatic.
@GOS- Gene, I think the Bears are making progress! I sincerely mean it! They remind me of GB back in the era before Favre. They would lose games all the time in similar ways.
It's hard to say exactly why, but it eventually ended!
We meet again the last game of the year@ GB... I just hope the Bears don't have any Illusions of grandeur for that one... But I got a feeling they might since the Packers are probably going to need that game
Update: I just read that the Bears are going to send video to the NFL office that there should have been a penalty called on Packers on the block....
What a bunch of whiners
...so to sum up; the Bears have a better chance at playing ' pick-up sticks' with their butt cheeks than getting that reversed
