Campbell took the risk because he was scared shitless of Love.
I wouldant say he was scared, but he's playing with a badly depleted defense and the Packers were moving the ball pretty easily. I think he did the smart thing to remove any possibility of giving them the ball back. Sure it was a risk. It's also a risk to do it the other way and kick on 4th down leaving them time.

That was a great game last night, watched it all, started watching at work and finished at home.
Goff is the Mahomes of the NFC. Don't count him out.

Maybe from a Super Bowl point of view, pure TV satisfaction a Detroit/Chiefs would be better than a Detroit/Bills?

As always may the best team win.
Did you see the NFC chart? The entire NFC West is IN THE HUNT.

While the Niners are still technically in the hunt, anyone who expects them to go anywhere this year is drinking a super tanker of Red Kool Aid. It's a real shame, because they have a good team, just bad luck with injuries. :(

Going for it on 4th down on the Lions own 31 yard line was kind of crazy. There was still a minute left in the third quarter, so why not punt? By putting that man in motion, the Lions telegraphed to GB that the play was a run to the right. If the Lions were near midfield, then OK; but they essentially handed 3 points to the Pack, and it ended up being 7 points. Fortunately for the Lions, Goff bailed Campbell out. Kudos to Goff!

- HOWEVER -

I do love to watch the Lions because Dan Campbell IS a madman.

Yeah, I don't want to say it too loudly that I am liking the Lions more and more. (Keep it quiet)
Stay crazy. lol

Crazy Dan did not get past the censors either

Whether they win the SB or not this season, the Lions have a tough, winning culture with Dan Campbell at the helm. He is a madman, however, so Jets fans will take him off of Detroit's hands...out of the kindness of our hearts.

The Jets should get Rex.

Maybe it's just the teams I follow but it seems there's an abundance of games won by three points or less. Congrats on the Lions three point win & clinching the playoffs!

Interesting that the Chiefs like the Lions have lost only one game so far this season. However take a look at the DVOA stats & you'll see the Lions are number one and the Chiefs are in 12th place. We've got the Chargers coming up this Sunday. I haven't had the courage to see what the odds or predictions are.

Chargers... Go Chiefs!

It's not the playoffs, so it doesn't matter, Scott. I really do not think that any team that beats the Chiefs in the regular season considers those results as a harbinger of how they will fare against the Chiefs and "Showtime" come January.

And if you don't believe that, give Josh Allen a call.
