okay. Me and RickP{icks would like to hear from youz guyz ---

please give your prediction for the Lions Vikings game.
The Lions, and specifically Goff, are like a well oiled machine. They are going to produce points.
The Vikings, and Darnold, are more like magicians pulling out points when they need them. I've seen their offense flounder more than Detroit's on any given Sunday.
I have more faith in Goff and the Lions.
Add in home field advantage and it's even easier to pick Detroit.

Lions are at the bottom of the rankings with pass defense. Vikings are close to that. Both teams are near the top in run defense. Both teams are also prolific scorers. I have no idea what the over/under is for this game but 90 points isnt out of the question in my mind. It could be the best game of the season that dosent involve the Bills.

Stop making sense. You're making me look wonky.

Also @rugene , I would gladly trade the Mike Tomlin Steelers years for the same NJ Jets years. Tomlin knows how to make something out of nothing. He hasn't had a losing season in 18 years as head coach of the Steelers. And those couple of years that he was 8-8...if those guys were Jets they probably would have had a record of 2-128. :poop:

Plus Tomlin is only 52 years old. A whole bunch of coaches were older than that when they won Super Bowls. I am very, very jealous!
I will also trade the Tomlin years with the Knoll and Cower years, except for the one where he won the Super Bowl. The Steelers had better teams back then and I prefer seeing a better team than a good coach with an average team.

Oh, I bleed for you rugene. I really do...

Right @Willie Wilson ? Don't we both bleed for rugene and his longing for the good ole days?

https://athlonsports.com/nfl/buffal...ssue-triggers-bill-simmons-dumpster-fire-rant

"The 2024 Patriots are the worst-run Boston sports team since Paul Gaston's last couple Celtics years," Simmons wrote on X. "Complete dumpster fire.''

Simmons' rant is specifically tied to the use of Pats rookie QB in this game, as he says, "There's no way (Drake) Maye should play on Sunday (vs. the Bills).''

The Patriots are set to face Josh Allen and the Bills this Sunday. Allen will appear briefly as a starter in order to keep his streak alive.

And Maye? With the No. 1 overall NFL Draft pick next April pick on the line, Simmons wants his Pats to lose - an achievement in theory made easier if Maye sits.

Hockey is my favourite sport. Maple Leafs play the Boston Bruins next

"Would you like another cup of tea, dear?"

@ar surround
I didn't know they were so close Cower and Tomlin. Maybe my impressions are centered around the fact that I prefer the Steelers with better quarterbacks. Since the departure of Ben, the Steelers are not as dangerous. If they remain competitive each year, is it the coach or the players, especially the defense?

Here's a pretty in-depth preview of the upcoming Lions- Vikings game from Jon Gruden.
& 'Chucky's' as intense as ever.🤓...
...@ the end, he also makes a prediction of the game..... Sorry Ricky, I will give you no clues!

Here's an in-depth preview of the upcoming Lions-Vikings game from AR Surround:

The team that plays better, doesn't turn the ball over, and doesn't take stupid penalties at key moments, is going to win.

Interesting game breakdown by Chucky. Its 36 minutes of conjecture whereas RickyPicks can do the deal in 30 seconds. And be quite accurate.
Gruden says Vikings win 41-38. Ill let you know what ole RP has to say, ...........when he checks in with me.

BTW - Aaron Jones always plays well against Detroit going back to his CheeseHead days. There is talk that he is injured and will not be 100 percent. He will prolly be 110 percent and the Lions need to contain him

Coverage map for Sunday's late games on FOX is below. I'm posting this because I find it interesting that the Des Moines, IA area is an island for the Niners at Cardinals game. (Both of those teams have been eliminated.)

Dolphins vs Jets has wide coverage. The Fins are still in the running for the last wild card spot; and this could be Aaron Rodgers' last NFL game.

geez a Loise ! RickyPicks stopped by ---mentioned he had a ton of bean dip and cheap beer last night. Thank God for Lysol
He left his Saturday game picks -
Browns at Baltimora - RP says this could be a fun game. New QB for the Browns and Colts - reportedly - resting some starters. In the end it wont matter as the Cravens will win this game. But not the expected blow out

Cinci at Pitt - both teams have let RickyPicks down this season. He was high ( gee surprise ) on both teams - especially Pitt. Pitt has lost just about everytime RP picks them to win. Is it a JohnN jinx ? This will be a fun game. In the end Joe Burrow comes thru. Cinci wins this one by 7

Enjoy the Saturday games. Ill find RP at some point and get those Sunday picks. Stay tuned
