I think it is absurd that the NFL will have a playoff game that many in the US will not be able to watch.

I'd certainly agree there and add despite that, Daboll coached that team to a 1st round playoff win before everything blew up.
Keeping the coach and firing the GM probably wasn't going to happen either though, so Schoen keeps his job and gets one more chance at the draft, for better or worse.

Greedy NFL people from top to bottom. Just wait. Eventually, we will have to pay a king's ransom to watch an NFL playoff game. I spent two years in Europe and didn't see an NFL game during that time. I and my fellow expats survived...and I learned to be a (quite lousy) soccer goalie.

To demonstrate how bad things have gotten for the Jets: I had thought that Antonio Brown was on the Jets roster when he walked off the field. He was actually on the Tampa Bay roster and walked out of MetLife when the Bucs were playing the Jets.
