So @cbmmm3 , I know that deadbeat RickyPicks' specialty is only NFL games, but does MontalbanMusings have any thoughts on the ND vs PSU game tomorrow night.
hey AR
RP is still hurting. He got a really bad spanking last weekend. Really bad. PM if you want to know. Not sure he will be off AssChew protocol to be able to make upcoming predictions

Now me - I know who I would like to see win - PSU. But, The Irish have some sort of good chemistry and momentum at the moment. This is going to be one awesome game. I think Irish win due to a higher performing offense

I do have a Amazon Prime Account, it is $139.00 per year.
I think it is absurd that the NFL will have a playoff game that many in the US will not be able to watch.
This is a bad trend. Last year it was Peacock having a playoff game; this year it's Amazon.
...I wonder how many hundreds of millions $ these wannabes are paying for the broadcast rights?
I can say that they aren't getting my money....

Hurts gone means the Eagles are done like dinner.

Go Bills!
I don't know about that. Philly has won 2 games w/o him in there. The last game they played their 3rd string QB & still won.
When you have a running game with Barley & a tough defense, you don't need a lot more. GB will have their hands full in this upcoming game!
I imagine Hurts will play & be effective!

Edit: Hey JohnNy, saw your comments.....With all I said, I still most definitely hope my Packers win! (..& so does @cbmmm3. But he does because he wants a 'cakewalk' thru the playoffs😁... Right Ricky?).
I saw that Philly is only a 3.5 point favorite. I understand home field is generally worth 3 so otherwise Phillies' a 1/2 point better.
GB keys to a win: get at least 2 turnovers, Jacobs 100+ yrs. rushing, the 'D' can tackle, get out to a good start, wr's can catch passes.
...regardless of the outcome I'm happy with GBs season . They won 2 more games than they did last year= Progress!

Cool post. I hope the Eagles win.

I had a $5 trial subscription to Peacock because it had all the IndyCar races, and $5 was worth it. They also had most of “Yellowstone” available. Somehow, someont had the bright idea that putting the last half-season on another streaming service was a good idea. Couple hammers short of a full sack.

The NCAA is trying something new with this playoff setup. That usually means they’re working to improve the product. Not all experiments succeed (Something I say about my own skills as an engineer is “The only thing I designed and built that worked right the first time was an extension cord.”), but are worth the effort. I suspect there will be some tweaks to the playoff seeding next year, but I’m unable to predict what they might be.

The NFL is not trying to improve their product, as far as I can tell.
IMHO, the NFL product & presentation is declining!
Examples: The new 'Dynamic kickoffs' (....a fricking joke!), what is a 'Catch'? ( 2 steps & a football move?..in reality any WR & most fans can tell you just by looking), Unnecessary roughness calls (.talk about something being subjective! Who said it's unnecessary or is it even too rough?), moving games away from free OTA broadcasts.... & the overall 'woke' crap they were pushing a few years back!
These are just a few and I could go on....

Interesting enough (so cold) 🥶

SIMMONS: You can win a Super Bowl with Josh Allen, but can Bills win with Sean McDermott coaching?

Josh Allen is poised and ready to win a Super Bowl, to become a Buffalo sports figure for the ages, in what is likely his first time winning the Most Valuable Player award in the National Football League.

In the photo Josh and Sean are demonstrating the tremendous effort they put in to insure a NE Patriots victory on their final game of the regular season.

Cool ;)

It's always tough when your favorite team has a bye week. Like withdrawl. I will have to satisfy myself with the various Wild Card games this weekend. Most interested in the Bronco/Bills and Vikings/Rams.

I saw this interesting tid bit on the Kansas City Star website:

The Chiefs currently have the second-best odds to win the upcoming Super Bowl, according to BetMGM, behind only the Detroit Lions.

How's that feel, Ricky?
