Ironic. They were on the receiving end of too many turnovers last week
story of my life. when I dont want em it happens. when I do want em, it never happens. My 'do want em' wishOn the shuttle bus ride back from the ski area to the hotel, I had a chat with a Detroit area resident who is a Lions fan. He’s still hurting a bit. Kept repeating “too many turnovers.” He says he couldn’t watch ESPN for three days afterwards.
We both picked the Eagles. When I got back to my room, the score was 14-12. Unfortunately, the Commanders just couldn’t seem to keep it a game after that. “Too many turnovers.”
If Mahomes pulls the same absurd stuff that he did the last time he played the Bills in this game, I will curse on this thread to the extent that I’ll be banned for life!
I would eat one or two of those right now.story of my life. when I dont want em it happens. when I do want em, it never happens. My 'do want em' wish

Not just this thread, everywhere outside of KansasCity. That’s what happens when you monopolize the sport.
Enjoy it because it’s not forever. Although it seems that way to the rest of us.
Just as RickyPicks said. Looking forward to all the nutty JohnN posts tomorrow.Chiefs
All fun. You're looking good. Please, Canadians can change their view. Like I hope for a 3-peat. I'm glad you are happy now. A nervous start by Josh Allen did not please. I'll go back to laughing at the Sabres.Just as RickyPicks said. Looking forward to all the nutty JohnN posts tomorrow.
Do I get a Captain's hat? Thanks Captain Obvious for the snarky reply. Of course you're right, I am enjoying it. Of course your right it will not last forever. But it didn't end today.
I was fantasizing about a Lions/Chiefs SB match up. It seems like it coulda happened. Then I would be pretty happy with what ever team won. But now it's the Eagles & they steamrolled Washington. Living on weed, whites & wine till Feb 9th.
Maybe you should ask Toni Tennille.Do I get a Captain's hat?
For sure,that's a good look for you.Do I get a Captain's hat?
Mahomes is a machine. Much respect.Sonik, good for you buddy! Great win! You definitely deserved it!
I should have never doubted Mahomes. Does it ever get tired winning so much?
I feel bad for Buffalo & all their fans. Especially Josh Allen... ...the look on his face sitting on the bench there at the end Bills had a chance but there was no room for error!
...will be rooting for KC in the SB..
Mahomes is a machine, for sure, but so is the NFL. For whatever reason, the Chiefs just get the calls at crucial moments in games. I'm a huge Longhorns fan, and I love Worthy, but that "reception" that they gave to him when neither he nor the defender controlled the ball when it touched the ground near the goal line was ridiculous. When the Bills were driving at the beginning of the fourth quarter, their receiver clearly got a first down, but they marked it short. On the next play, a fourth down, Allen clearly (just) made the first down, but the official on the side of the field with Allen's back to him declared it short, even though the official on the other side appeared to say he made it.Mahomes is a machine. Much respect.
All noticed. So glad that you summed it up this way. I did not want to look like a sore loser. Thanks! Refs are a joke.Mahomes is a machine, for sure, but so is the NFL. I don't know if any of those calls determined the outcome of the game, but I'm just tired of those kinds of calls always going to the Chiefs. I'm much more of a college football fan than an NFL fan, and I don't really have a dog in this fight, but I'll be rooting for the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
When all is lost to a superior team, the fan critics have no where to go but to blame the refs. All noticed. So glad that you summed it up this way. I did not want to look like a sore loser. Thanks! Refs are a joke.
