Yes Ricky, KC does have a lot of interesting personalities on their team...even if I don't like some of their 'friends'!ya know, as much as I dont want another year of Jake at State Farm with the Chiefs, Ill put up with it as I would like to see the Chiefs win.
Lots of things at play here:Garrett requests trade:

I guess he sees the end of the line for his career in a few years and would like to win something. @Willie Wilson ?
I hate Philly!
Great idea.some wings and pulled meats
Great idea.
Hate? Since nothing really matters to me; Go Eagles! I like the Flyers too.Yes Ricky, KC does have a lot of interesting personalities on their team...even if I don't like some of their 'friends'!
I too, would like to see KC win. I hate Philly!
BTW, state farm sure dropped A. Rodgers like a bad habit, didn't they?...
I thought the first few years when he did the championship belt thing that they were amusing but then got to be boring
Best Super Bowl (non Niners) I can remember. Very exciting."Nick "Philly Special" Foles was one of them. A huge underdog to Tom Brady. It was one day in the sun."
I love Brady but THAT game was spectacular !!!!!! Nick played out of his ass that game and I loved it
California imitation KC barbecueI think at this point my only concern is Sundays Food Menu.
What's you all's plan?

Wow. I never knew Armadillo Eggs were a thing.we ALWAYS get a pizza. real pizza from a real pizzeria. Not a chain. And this little joint is a few miles down the road and has excellent BBQ. Thinking we may get some wings and pulled meats

As a Packers fan, we'll be happy to take Garrett off your hands! One the the Achilles of GB was a lack of a pass rush!Lots of things at play here:
Garrett is 29 and his value has never been higher. Once he reaches 30, the discussion changes in the eyes of GMs. He has nothing left to prove except to win a Super Bowl. It will not happen here.
Like everyone else, he had to invest in the predator at QB, because that was their one hope to right the ship offensively. Instead, the predator’s on and off-field performances were highly offensive and now there is no hope for the playoffs in the short-term.
The Browns’ GM, Andrew Berry, misses as much as he hits on draft picks and Garrett has seen that firsthand for years. He obviously has little faith in Berry to get the job done.
Head Coach Stefanski was devalued by having play-calling assigned last season to Ken Dorsey, who was a mess, and by having to change a successful offense to accommodate a QB he did not want. Garrett sees him, as do many others, as a pawn in the organization with diminished authority.
Finally, Haslam is still the owner and this team will not win with him at the top. Garrett has seen eight years of this circus and knows it won’t change.
I wish him well and hope they get a haul for him.
I agree that Foles did not get the credit he deserved for Philly winning it that year. Wasn't that the year Doug Peterson was HC? Also, vastly underrated. I liked that version of the Eagles!"Nick "Philly Special" Foles was one of them. A huge underdog to Tom Brady. It was one day in the sun."
I love Brady but THAT game was spectacular !!!!!! Nick played out of his ass that game and I loved it
AR.. good assessment.! Hurts is really a tough QB & Barkleys' just too good. The best overall rb in the game right now!I don't like the Eagles team either, but I indeed like certain folks who have played for Philly:
- Nick "Philly Special" Foles was one of them. A huge underdog to Tom Brady. It was one day in the sun.
- Jalen Hurts is another. He came off the bench as a backup to Tua to rally the Tide to a comeback win in the SEC title game. You can run him over with a truck and his game-day expression never changes. While many do not consider him a great QB, I think that he is a great football player and an even greater teammate.
- Saquon Barkley: The man finally gets a chance to show his prowess and delivers big time. Just goes to show you how consistently crappy the Giants offensive line has been over the years. Having a dangerous running QB like Hurts also helps...team game as always.
I used to dig the halftime until the NFL 'forgot" who their real audience is and started to pander to the young crowd to try to expand their base. This 'new' halftime allows me to catch up on eating and check in on the QQ forumWow. I never knew Armadillo Eggs were a thing.
Wild, weird stuff.
Personally, I find myself totally indifferent to this year’s SB. I will watch for sure but I don’t care about either team. And my tolerance for the BS that comes along with the SB (for instance,45 minutes for half time ) lessens every year.
Around here there's no shortage of great BBQ joints. And we have a local chain of, I guess, eight locations that's named Minsky's Pizza. Truly excellent, premium ingredients. Problem is on a big game day everyone places an order for pick up at five. They can only prepare so fast. Might have to wait an hour.we ALWAYS get a pizza. real pizza from a real pizzeria. Not a chain. And this little joint is a few miles down the road and has excellent BBQ. Thinking we may get some wings and pulled meats

IMO, best half time show ever was the one with Prince. It's on YT. Might have to watch it again.I used to dig the halftime until the NFL 'forgot" who their real audience is and started to pander to the young crowd to try to expand their base.
