WOW, Steve. Never heard of this fantastic label. Can see ordering a bundle especially at these extraordinary discount prices.

The studio in which their spatial recordings were recorded is state of the art as well.

Absolutely. And most of their spatial audio recordings are combined mkv files with Dolby Atmos, DTS-X & Auro-3D, using height microphones for the heights! If you buy from the US, be sure to click so your credit card or Paypal pays in Euros - will save you a tad of $$ instead of paying in US $$.

I ordered a total of 15 SACDs and when they removed the VAT and charged ONLY £8 for tracked P/H the average price of each SACD was US $7.47

Almost worth any risk in the discs not getting many plays for that price.

I've seen this company come up before, and I struggle to commit because I only recognize some of the material being performed and zero performers. Most of that is due to my lack of knowledge in the classical and jazz space, I'm sure they aren't wasting all this time and equipment on hacks. But where to start still ends up being a nearly insurmountable task for a casual classical listener.

I think you mean 'mixed', not recorded? This looks like a very nice mixing studio.
Whatever ..... but all I can say is that even the 'sample' tracks sounded 'audiophile's through my iMac computer speakers.

And contrast that £8 tracked s/h fee for a total of 15 SACDs with SDE charging US $12 to ship ONE BD~A......Hmmmmmm!

Don't feel bad .... I just based my purchases on the gorgeous sounding samples the label provided. There are a LOT of talented performers worldwide who will never get a recording contract with the major labels which doesn't mean they don't excel at their craft. Always a pleasure to discover new talent with new interpretations of famous and not so famous composers and the exceptional sonics provided only elevate their performances to new heights!

PRESTO Music in the UK also has a few for sale and indeed lists them as stereo/multihannel

https://www.prestomusic.com/classical/labels/3696/browse?format=sacd

The TRPTK SACDs at Presto are much cheaper on sale at TRPTK right now.

However, here's a gem - I already have it - hard to find - multichannel Jazz At The Pawnshop.
Get the $40 one which has volumes 1, 2 and more.

Have had it for years and do highly recommend it, Steve! And the set also comes with a DVD!

And yes, Presto is charging more but then again it was for stereo/multichannel reference ONLY!

I don't quite understand when you say "stereo/multichannel reference". I thought all of the TRPTK SACDs have both stereo and multi-channel tracks (thats what I was seeing on Discogs). Are you saying some TRPTK SACDs are reference at Presto with multichannel but only stereo at TRPTK. I just can't see any company manufacturing 2 sets of the same SACD so they can sell a few with multichannel on Presto.

Steve, I was just reinforcing the fact that ALL the TRPTK SACDs are both stereo and multichannel and although they don't directly state that on their site I inferred that because all of their recordings are downloadable in 'Spatial' codecs [which to me WAS the giveaway}!

What a great bargain find! I had encountered the label a few months ago, after seeing Maya Fridman give an astonishing performance at a new music festival and buying a couple of her recordings there. If you're into cello music, solo and otherwise, you must check her out. I had picked up her standard CDs "The Power of Indifference" and "REIÐ", but ordered a bunch of her other recordings in this sale (many of which were SACDs).

Almost all titles can be sampled on the site, so easy enough to see if they float your boat. Lots of other contemporary classical titles to choose from as well.

I might assume most who wanted this already have it, but if not, a pretty darn good price relative to other sites on this one...
The Broadsword and the Beast - Tull (Amazon US) $42.53 For quick reference, importCD has it listed at $58.75.
There are multiple other Tull sets at a reduced price, but most of them simply put the price in line with importCD as a general rule.

This is a great set, I’ve been playing it all week.
Tons of excellent bonus tracks.
